CR Fashion Book 5

“Then I fill the tub up halfway then ride it with my surfboard.”

Beyonce-Drunk in love

I love phenomena in music today, it is surrounded by mystery, no one know what it means, but it sounds good, so you might as well go with the waves (“Wave after wave, slowly drifting..”). When these occurrences convey to fashion, they make a statement. We still don’t know what that statement is, but it is there to take it for granted, because you just don’t know..”anything could happen“.

This time we take a journey to Neverland, meet superhuman Queen Beyoncé, put some Carine Roitfeld fairy dust and spell out names like photographer Pierre Debusschere and art directors like Riccardo Tisci to create this otherworldly editorial. Creatures of the night, fashion week representations and zen masters:

“Utopias, they don’t much interest me,
I always mess things up a bit.
It’s chaos, in part, that helps us see.
For my daughter I dream a day
when no one roots for others to fail,
when we all mean what we say.”
